I'm 42 years old and I finally got it in my head that what I am doing is not what I want to do for the rest of my life.  After a ton of soul searching, I finally realized that what I'm really passionate about is to understand the human condition.

So I decided to go back to school and start all over again at the age of 42. I'm still working of course, but I'm going back to get my psychology degree.

I find it interesting that we somehow expect our kids to know what they want to do in their careers right out of high school when I'm just now understanding what I am passionate about.

Anybody else reaching this point in their life?

Is this the mid life crisis?

Or am I finally on the right path?
